I've not achieved much But for you, my dear I'll show you through the atmosphere I'd sail a million miles For you bring a billion smiles Life is what you make it So come and make it with me Come and make it with me I'm really starting to crack Give me a chance to go back I'm feeling under attack I'd sail a million miles For you bring a billion smiles Life is what you make it So come and make it with me Come and make it with me I'd sail a million miles For you bring a billion smiles Life is what you make it So come and make it with me Come and make it with me

about

Following Brighton alt-rockers Fighting Colours' moody debut with To the Bone in December 2020, second single A Billion Smiles finds the band in a more upbeat state of mind. Moving through bouncy rhythms and shifting time signatures, A Billion Smiles is in its purest essence a love song, expressing the pure and joyful devotion one person can feel towards another. How we approach our time on Earth, the struggles it brings and the people we meet are up to us; as Jasmine sings on the chorus, “Life is what you make it, so come and make it with me.”
